Phi Beta Kappa London is a community for members of Phi Beta Kappa who live in London and the UK. See how you can join in.

Launched in 2014, Phi Beta Kappa London is a community for members of Phi Beta Kappa who live or study in London, as well as the UK. Our purpose is to promote friendship amongst members. We also support Phi Beta Kappa members who move to the UK for graduate study.

Throughout the year, we host opportunities for members to meet. We also facilitate two closed, members-only social media groups for members to network and learn.

Phi Beta Kappa London is member-led, and we always welcome ideas for events, peer-support and other forms of networking. Keen to be involved? Email Lydia Dye-Stonebridge at members@pbkldn.org.

What we do.

Find out more how we’re extending the usefulness of Phi Beta Kappa membership, both in the UK and elsewhere.

  • Social events for members

We hold one annual member gathering in the autumn, PBKLDN Phanksgiving, as well as other member-led social meet-ups throughout the year, both in London and in Oxford.

  • Online discussions and outreach

Our online events link the UK Phi Beta Kappa community with fellow members and like-minded friends in the US. We also facilitate a number of social networks, including WhatsApp groups for specific clusters of members.

  • PBKLDN Blog

With a unique UK-centric perspective, our blog is a space for our members to share knowledge and discuss issues that align with our commitment to freedom of expression and academic excellence.
